Im studying in (south)Ireland,Its not under UK control,
Most people speak English in Ireland,
but Irish people still have to learn Irish here.
and in secondary school you can pick french or German.
we use euro here by the way

oh cool, where do u study in melbourne? are u doing high school or uni? i use to live in melbourne until i have to do my uni at Bendigo, 2 hours north of melbourne. well it takes time with english, u gotta speak it EVERYDAY, read and write is very important, try to hang out with the white folks, or else u'll never learn, coz when ur with ur own people u'll never have the need to speak another language, just my 2 cent
